From Picture Frame to Bow Hanger

If you know me at all, you know that I love accessories and being well dressed!! It will come as know surprise, that so does Lucy! (Alright, I know, I know.....I love having her well dressed and accessorized!) My sweet sister-in-law and I were each pregnant with our babies at the same time. We each already had one at home - she had a girl and I had a boy. When we found out we were having Miss Lucy, they found out that they were having a boy! How lucky for both of us that we go to trade clothes! YAY! Any way, I was given a big Ziploc bag FULL of hair bows and clips. I love things to be organized and decided that I needed a way to display all the hair pretties! And so my project began.....
I found this picture frame at Salvation Army and it was the right size for the space I needed. (If I had more space, I would have purchased a larger frame to hold more bows and clips!!)

I removed the matting and glass and spray painted it pink. I had some leftover pink paint from my mirror to chalkboard transformation, so I just used that. (I also love that it is called "Ballet Slipper"! What a cute name!)

I then used a sheer pink ribbon. I cut the ribbon, placed it where I wanted it on the frame, and hot-glued it down!
Next, I added hooks for a few of Lucy's headbands. You can see in the picture above, they are just partially in. I did that first to make sure that I where I wanted them, then I tightened them in place.

Lastly, I organized her bows by color. Yes, I am a little crazy like that! Then I added a 3M strip and hook on the side of Lucy's hutch and I hung up the hanger! So easy to see where everything is now!
